Dr. J. Kenneth Rhea - Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Kenneth Rhea graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.

After practicing for many years and owning several different vet hospitals, he proudly opened Buies Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2018 and has loved every minute since. Harnett county has been nothing but welcoming and loving to Dr. Rhea. Dr. Rhea is originally from Chattanooga, TN.

In his personal time, Dr. Rhea enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Karen, and two grown children, Josh and Kay Lauren. He currently has two dogs, Bentley and Zadie, as well as two cats, Kiki and Binx. His favorite hobbies are gardening (especially taking care of his blackberries), bee keeping, being outside, traveling, and helping others.
